Flying has become ridiculously cheap, well at least if you do some research. My upcoming flight from Dubai to Manila and back just costs 44 USD. No miles no secrets, just a promotion fare … Wait, did you actually grasp how crazy this is? I will get a total of 18 hours up in the air for 44 USD! The taxi rides from and to the airport in Dubai will be more expensive! It’s just crazy.
Or look at it this way, the zipline in Dubai Marina costs 650 AED. Although it will definitely be a fun experience, it’s a quite expensive. For that amount I can fly 3 times to the Philippines and back!
I do know that Cebu Pacific is a low cost airline but I have flown them before. You get what you pay for. It’s like flying a bus but for 44 USD I won’t complain. Just bring a sweater or jacket as they make it freezing cold so you would buy a blanket. On the fun side, there is a karaoke moment during the flight and several give away’s! I will try to film my experience this time 😉

I regularly check sites like fly4free, secret flying etc. It’s also a good idea to follow all airlines on Facebook and Twitter to be aware of promotions and deals.
Where to go in the Philippines?
I have been to Cebu, Bohol, Manila, and my favorite so far El Nido and this time I plan to visit Coron. I also booked flights to Boracay but I am looking into cutting Boracay out as it has become a public sewage and the president of the Philippines is considering to close it in 6 months if the problems are not solved. The other islands are magnificent don’t worry!
