Wanderlust in the Middle East – Jordan with a local

As you can see in my video, Jordan has more to offer than just Petra. Traveling there had been on my mind when I was in Europe as well but this time it wasn’t my idea to check it out.

Currently living in Dubai means that I have friends from allover the world (that sounds so cliché but it is true). Everyone is far away from their friends and families and only returns home once or twice a year.
I was very lucky that Rawan, a Palestinian Jordanian friend, invited us to come along on her trip home. A local friend showing you around is taking your travel experience to the next level. You discover all the hidden secrets and it is the best guide you can imagine. On top of that I was overwhelmed by hospitality: I was treated like a king and close family at the same time. I am very grateful for the whole experience, a very big thank you to Rawan and her family!

Keep an eye on the blog to find out more about the hikes in Wadi al-Mujib, Wadi Al Hasa and Petra.  Probably I will also write about how we stuffed ourself with big amounts of delicious food!
