Special fares come and go. It’s always an exiting event when I see a deal that is ridiculously cheap. I start dreaming about an a la carte menu and maybe on on board bar.
It would be so cool to have 2 windows and a lie flat bed like on that interesting KUL-DXB route.

But then I snap back to reality, this deal is not going to be there for long. It’s a matter of days maybe even hours!
A few days ago my phone started buzzing with notifications about a special fare from Hong Kong to Dubai. And it was even more special then usual because it’s rare to see a Business Class fare on Emirates for such a crazy price of 513 EURO.
All the questions start popping through my head, is it an Emirates promotion, is it an OTA glitch, do I have any holidays left, how will I position to Hong Kong, can I do a weekend turnaround or should I nest it with some cheap Air Asia tickets and explore some other places close by?
No time to think! Just book already! 😀

I click on Go to booking on the momondo website … heart beats … The Emirates website is loading with a price in HKD, not sure how much that is but it looks on the high side. Aha there is button to see the price in Euros.
Too good to be true
Heart beats … a moment of silence … 2700 EURO. Noooo 😮 it’s a normal Business Class fare. This deal was too good to be true. Probably just an OTA (learn about travel terminology) glitch, I am not sure.
The other cheap Business Class route I posted is also not working anymore. Oh well like I said good fares come and go 🙂
