It’s requires a bit more than a backpackers budget to stay in the Burj Al Arab 🙂 . I just flew to the other side of the world, traveled for a week and I spent less than the cheapest rate for one night in this iconic 7 star hotel. You will stay different off course but I’ll show you some options to experience this Jumeirah luxury with a lower budget 😉
Option 1: Experience Burj Al Arab for virtually free.
Pun intended! Jumeirah just launched a new 3D travel platform in collaboration with Google. You can stroll around in the Burj Al Arab Google Street View style with some extra bells and whistles like 3D sound and 360° video, pretty cool! If you are tired of walking then you can take a dip in the exclusive SPA or chill in the Royal Suite or check some epic Dubai skyline views from the helipad. Click here to experience the Burj Al Arab for free.
I like how the experience starts, it’s like the helicopter flight to Jurassic Park. There are no dinosaurs here but you will probably eat or drink something decorated with eatable 22-24 carat gold.
Option 2: Experience the Burj Al Arab on a budget: dine in one of the 9 restaurants or enjoy high tea.
You can Enjoy high tea with cool views of the Palm and the World Island from 620 AED = 168 USD. It’s best to visit Jumeirah’s website to get more info about all the high tea options and the restaurants. Some might have better views or more options to explore to hotel, there is a lot of confusing info on blogs so contact Jumeirah before you book 😉
