The firework show at the Burj Khalifa in Dubai on New Years Eve was replaced by an imprssive light show. And the good news is that it’s extended until 31/03/2018. So if you visit Dubai you can still check it out.
When can I see it?
On Thursday and Friday it’s on at 10 pm. On Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday at 8 pm. But I heard from some people that it’s also shown every day so best to ask at any info desk at the Dubai Mall.
What is the best spot to watch?
The show can be seen just outside Dubai mall at the fountain area. You will see loads of tourists on the Souq Al Bahar bridge and next to the fountain. But I recommend that you go as far away as possible from the bridge so you can see the whole Burj Khalifa without moving your head up and down and there are almost no people 😉
